The Method

Slow movement. Constant tension. Real strength.

A low-impact, high-intensity strength format performed on the Megaformer Pro.

One class. One format.
Signature Mega
50 minutes
Best for: anyone, and everyone.

Each 50-minute class is time-based, not rep-based. There's no counting to ten and collapsing. Instead, you hold, you tremble, you breathe through it — building slow-twitch muscular endurance through controlled, continuous tension rather than explosive movement.

Classes are structured in position-grouped blocks, with carriage flips kept to a minimum so the focus stays on form, not transitions. Every exercise targets the full body: core engaged throughout, working from a place of control rather than momentum.

It's tough. It's also incredibly precise. Fifty minutes on a Megaformer can do what an hour-long HIIT class can't: build long, lean strength without grinding down your joints.

Feel the work. See the results.

What is Lagree?

Strength conditioning, reimagined.

Lagree is a low-impact, high-intensity workout performed on a spring-loaded resistance machine — the Megaformer Pro. It combines strength, cardio, core, and flexibility work into one continuous, non-stop session.

Developed by Sebastien Lagree in the early 2000s, it evolved out of Pilates-based equipment into a distinct strength-conditioning method with its own machine lineage. At LYNE, we use the most advanced machine available.

Core principles

Four things that make it Lagree.

  1. 01
    Time under tension

Slow, controlled movements keep muscles engaged continuously rather than resting between reps.

  2. 02
    Constant variable resistance

Spring tension changes the challenge through the full range of motion, unlike free weights.

  3. 03
    Full-body, high-rep, low-impact

No jumping, no heavy joint loading — but very high muscular demand.

  4. 04
    Non-stop transitions

A class moves through 8–12 positions — platform, standing, kneeling, seated, lying — with minimal rest, keeping heart rate elevated.

Lagree vs. reformer Pilates

Same machine lineage. Different intent.

Reformer is slow, controlled Pilates focused on precision and flexibility. Lagree took the same type of machine but removed the rest between moves, added heavier variable resistance, and turned it into a non-stop strength and cardio workout — so it feels far more intense.

No two classes are the same. The burn always is.

What to bring

Come as you are.

  • Grip socks — mandatory on the Megaformer.
  • A water bottle.
  • Fitted activewear — loose fabric catches on the springs.
  • Arrive 10 minutes early for your first session.

Fifty minutes. Five machines. One version of you, stronger.
